Orangecat, 18months old, male, neutered, 3kg
This orange cat suffered an open fracture of the tibia and fibula a few months ago. After surgery, infection occurred. Therefore, the implants were removed, and external fixationand external dressing were used instead. The wound does not heal, and there is always oozing. The X-rays showed that the unqualified external fixator fixed the "skin and bones (tibia and fibula)". There is a Kirschner wire in the medullary cavity, and its distal end is connected with a fracture block with high density, clear border, and sharp end. Fracture dislocation and tarsal joint extension. Holes left by previous surgery are still visible in the bones. There is an external dressing on the outside. The bone fragment about 2 cm long attached to the distal end of the Kirschner wire is a dead bone.
