A Poodle, 8 years old, female, unneutered, 5.2kg, suffered from a comminuted fracture of the distal tibia caused by a car accident. The BlueSAO PRCL-S6.5mm locking bone plate was used for the internal fixation during the surgery. Considering that the dog is older and the healing is slow, the double plates was used on the medialand cranial sides of the tibiaduring the surgery. The postoperative recovery was good.
