A Alaskan Malamute dog, calledCoco, 4 years old, female, unneutered, 37 Kg, visited the doctor with a right hind limb limp for several days. Physical examination revealed significant muscle atrophy in the right hind limb. the DR examination revealed a subluxation of the right knee joint. The diagnosis was cranial cruciate ligament disease. Itwasdecidedto perform TPLO surgery. A 24mmsaw blade was used for osteotomy and the BlueSAOTPLO-L10.5mm R pure titanium locking bone platewas used for fixation. The surgery went well and achieved the expected result. We hope for a speedy recovery.
