A Alaskan Malamute dog,5 years old, female, 38kg. She had intermittent lameness a year ago and remained persistent limping for half a year. Physical examination revealed muscle atrophy, obvious lameness and pain of the left hind limb and a positive drawer test of the left knee joint.X-Rays: significant cranial displacement of the tibia. She was diagnosed with the rupture of cranial cruciate ligament. We did a TPLO surgery for her by using BlueSAO TPLO-L11.5mm pure titanium locking plate. The surgery was successful and we look forward to a speedy recovery.
Thanks to Dr.Gao from Shenyang Mukden Wanbo Animal Hospital of Liaoning province bringing us the case.
