A clinical case of cemented total hip replacement in a poodle

A Poodle, named Juanmao, 8 years old, male, castrated, 5 Kg. The dog was seen for sudden onset of lameness in the right hind limb, and the DR imaging findings suggested dislocation of the right hip. The dislocated joint was easily repositioned but was prone to re-dislocation. The owner chose a better total hip replacement, BlueSAO Cemented Micro&Nano Hip System for total hip replacement.
Implants: 12mm cemented cup, #1.5 cemented femoral stem, and 8mm (+0) femoral head. The surgery was successful and we hope for a quick recovery!
