A Border Collie, 9 months old, male, 16Kg. He suffered a traumatic femoral head epiphysis fracture.
After
talking with the pet owner, the decision was made to have a hip replacement.
The surgery uses BlueSAO biological hip joint system for replacement. Implants:
22mm biological cup, 5# biological femoral stem, 13mm (+3) femoral head. Good
postoperative recovery!
