A Bichon Frise,
16 years old, female (neutered), 4.7 kg.
Medical history:
both hind legs suffered from old ACL rupture; he suffered from tibia and fibula
fracture caused by trauma one week ago, and another fracture one week after
surgery in the other hospital.
He was brought to our hospital for revision surgery. During the surgery,
obvious effusion was seen in the proximal tibia, the implant was removed and
sent for drug sensitivity test. After extensive irrigation of the wound, he was
fixed with BlueSAO HyProtect-PRCL-5mm and 6mm silver ion antimicrobial plate
for double-plate internal fixation, and at the same time, filled with BlueSAO's
S-VETOSS artificial bone imported from Canada, which greatly and quickly
stimulated the bone's generation and healing. Postoperative
re-examination at one week showed that the implant was stable and there was no
abnormality in the wound.
