Breed: Golden retriever, 8 months old, male
(unneutered), 35kg.
Medical history: the dog was lame due to fracture
of the femoral head growth plate, so we decided to perform a THR with the
BlueSAO Biological Hip Replacement System. Accurate preoperative planning was
made by BlueSAO iBlueVet, and we did the surgery by using φ26mm cemented cup,
#7 Biological stem and φ16mm (+3) head. The dog recovered well after the
surgery.
