medical history: A Maine Coon cat, 2 years old, had
femoral head resection in both hind limbs half a year ago because of slipped
epiphysis. After the surgery, the cat did not like to move and often shook his
legs when standing on the hind limbs, so the pet owner considered to perform a
hip replacement after checking the information on its own.
Accurate planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVet, and
we did the surgery by using a φ12mm cemented cup, a #3 cemented stem and three
φ8mm heads of (+4), (+0), and (+2) as backup.
