A Shiba Inu, 1 year old, male, 10kg, suffered from bilateral hip dysplasia. As such, we decided to perform a THR surgery by using the BlueSAO hip replacement system, starting with the right side and then the left side one month later. Besides, a φ14mm cup, a #3 stem, a φ8mm (+0) head and antibiotic-loaded bone cement were used for the right side, and a φ14mm cup, a #3 stem, a φ8mm (+2) head and antibiotic-loaded bone cement for the left side for the replacement. The surgery was completed successfully. Best wishes for an early recovery.
