A golden retriever, 8 years old, female, 33kg,

presented with protein-losing enteropathy over a month ago and was stabilized with treatment; however, a week ago, her right hind limb was suddenly hyperflexed and plantarized, which was diagnosed as a ruptured achilles tendon. As such, we decided to perform a TPLO surgery.During the surgery, we adopted 3-loop pulley suture to close the achilles tendon, allowing slight extension of the tarsal joints; besides, her tarsal joints were fixed with BlueSAO TPLO-10mm R-type pure titanium locking plate for treatment. The surgery was completed successfully. Best wishes for an early recovery.
