A Poodlenamed Aoliao, male, 6 months old, 4kg, suffered a fracture of distal radius and ulna. External fixation was failed in other hospital. Considering skin damage and poor blood supply of distal radius and ulna, we repaired it by using BlueSAO PRCL-S5mmT-shape locking plate, combined excessive bending and protected soft tissue as much as possible. Finally, we corrected the broken end by 25 degrees and reduced the radius by 70%.
70 daysafter the surgery,the dog has recovered well and the plate has been removed.
