20240701- [Rupture of Cranial Cruciate Ligament] An American Bully, Fixed with TPLO-M System Successfully
An American bully, 3 years old, female, 20kg,
suffered from bilateral anterior tibial translation, and weakness in both hind limbs when walking due to obsolete disease on bilateral anterior cruciate ligament. As such, we decided to perform TPLO surgery on her both legs separately for surgical treatment, with a 4-week interval between surgeries. By using a #18 saw blade intraoperatively, she was internally fixed with BlueSAO TPLO-8.5mm pure titanium locking plate for internal fixation. The dog is recovering quickly due to the minimal damage from this surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery!
