A Welsh Corgi dog, nickname: Oreo, 3 years old, female, 9kg, suffered from a sudden lameness in the left hind limb two days ago while running vigorously. Clinical examination revealed lameness in the left hind limb, and an anterior drawer test was performed with positive results, which was diagnosed as the rupture of cranial cruciate ligament. As such, we decided to perform a TPLO surgery. She was internally fixed with BlueSAO TPLO-5.5mm L-type pure titanium locking plate. The surgery was completed successfully. Best wishes for an early recovery.
Thanks to Dr. Gao Peiyuan (Shenyang Agricultural University - Wellhope Animal Hospital) for sharing the clinical case of BlueSAO TPLO locking plate system.
