A stray dog, nickname: Maomao, about 1 year old, female, 6kg, was found to be lameness in her right hind limb at the time of adoption. Examination revealed an old luxation of the right hip joint. As such, we decided to perform a THR surgery by using a φ15mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, a φ13mm+0 femoral head, and a #2 stem of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement Systemfor replacement. The surgery was completed successfully, and the dog can walk normally and was very active on the second day postoperatively. Best wishes for an early recovery.
