A cat, nickname: Xuegao, 2 years old, male, 5,4kg, suffered bilateral slipped femoral head. The cat owner specially returned from the United States and chose to adopt the BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement Systemfor surgical treatment of the cat. We did the surgery by first replacing his left femoral head, including the use of a φ11mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, a φ8mm +0 femoral head, and a# 3 stem for replacement.

Given that the cat's left femoral head was recovering well two weeks after surgery, we then moved on to the hip replacement of the right femoral head. Similarly, a φ11mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, a φ8mm +0 femoral head, and a# 3 stem were used in the surgery.

The cat has recovered well from both femoral heads. A review before discharge on the fourteenth day after right femoral head replacement revealed further enhancement of muscle mass in the left affected limb.

Thanks to Dr. Du Lang (Kunming RINGPAI Hengjia Pet Hospital) for sharing the clinical case of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement System.
