A maine coon cat, 1 year and 3 months old, male, 8kg, was brought to the hospital due to a lameness for one month. Examination revealed that the cat had a slipped capital femoral epiphysis; we advised the owner to opt for a THR surgery to maximize the mobility of the joint. Accurate surgical planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVet, the orthopedic planning software. We adopted a φ12mm cup, a #3 stem, a φ8(+2)mm femur head, and antibiotic-loaded bone cement of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Hip Replacement System for replacement. The surgery was completed successfully. Best wishes for an early recovery.

Thanks to Dr. Wu Junjie (Ai - Bi Veterinary Medicine Center of Nanjing) for sharing the clinical case of BlueSAO Hip Replacement System.
