A Labrador retriever, nickname: Panghu, 2.5 years old, male, 45kg,suffered from hip dysplasia plus traumatic luxation of the femoral head, which resulted in deep muscle adhesions and massive acetabular hyperplasia, As such, we decided to perform a THR surgery. Intraoperatively, a φ25mm bionic cup, a φ20mm PEEK femoral head, a #7 biological stem, an M+6 femoral neck, and a φ 22mm cortical bone side bolt of BlueSAO Bionic Hip Joint System were adopted for replacement. The dog is recovering well from the surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.
