A golden retriever, 6 years old, male, 54kg,suffered from bilateral hip dysplasia, resulting in hip wear and hyperplasia, more severe on the right side, with significant muscle atrophy. As such, we decided to perform a THR surgery. Intraoperatively, a φ31mm bionic acetabular cup, a φ26mm PEEK femoral head, a #8 biological stem, and an M+3 femoral neck of BlueSAO Bionic Hip Joint System were adopted for replacement. The dog is recovering well from the surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.
