A Maine coon cat, 1.5 years old, male, 6.3kg,suffered from a fracture of bilateral femoral neck. As such, we decided to perform a THR surgery on his left side, and the THR surgery on his right side will be performed after a period of recovery. For these two surgeries, we both adopted a φ13mm PEEK cup, a φ10mm+0 femoral head, and a #3 stem of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement Systemfor replacement intraoperatively. The surgery was completed successfully. Immediate postoperative luxation testing showed stable results, and the dog is recovering quickly due to the minimal damage from this surgery.
