A poodle, 14 years old, male (unneutered), 7.6kg, suffered from a lameness in the right hind limb; a drawer test was performed with positive results, and DR imaging showed anterior tibial tilt, based on which the dog was diagnosed with the rupture of cranial cruciate ligament of the right hind limb. As such, we decided to perform a TPLO surgery. Accurate preoperative planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVet to determine the TPA angle to be 29° and by using a 15mm saw blade with a travel distance of 6.8mm intraoperatively, we fixed the ligament internally with BlueSAO TPLO-5.5mm R-type pure titanium locking plate.
