A rottweiler, nickname: Sandor, 10 months old, male, 35kg, suffered from bilateral hip dysplasia. As such, we decided to perform a THR surgery on this dog. We were honored to have Dr. Giuseppe Garcia from Peru, along with Dr. Diego Fallas and Dr. Juan P. Garcia from Costa Rica, perform the BlueSAO Bionic Hip Joint Replacement.

Accurate preoperative planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVet. We did the surgery by using a φ27mm bionic cup, a φ22mm PEEK femoral head, a #8 biological stem, and an M+3 femoral neck of BlueSAO Bionic Hip Joint System for replacement. The surgery was completed successfully, and the dog could walk normally 2 hours after the surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.
