A border collie, nickname: Roka, 1 year old, female, 16kg, suffered from dorsal luxation of femoral head and medial patellar luxation due to left hip dysplasia. As such, in January 2025, we decided to perform a left hip replacement on this dog. Intraoperatively, a φ23mm bionic acetabular cup, a φ18mm PEEK femoral head, a #5 biological stem, and an M+0 femoral neck of BlueSAO Bionic Hip Joint System were adopted for replacement. The surgery was completed successfully. The dog recovers exceptionally well from the surgery. The dog could walk freely 12 hours after the surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.

BlueSAO Hip Replacement System: Non-3D Printed Stem of Mainstream Forging Stem Process! All implants like the acetabular cup, femoral head, femoral neck, and lateral bolt are not 3D printed and have stood the test of time to be safer and more reliable!

Thanks to Dr. Zhang Qifeng (Taiwan Qixin Animal Hospital) for sharing the case of BlueSAO Bionic Hip Joint System.
