A Pomeranian dog, 2 years old, male, 5.5kg,suffered from bilateral femoral head luxation, and its left limb did not regain satisfactory strength one month after femoral head excision. Therefore, hip replacement was chosen for the right side. Intraoperatively, we adopted a 11mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, a 8mm+0 femoral head, and a #1 cemented femoral stem of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement System for replacement. The surgery was completed successfully. Immediate postoperative luxation testing showed stable results, and the dog is recovering quickly thanks to the minimal damage from this surgery.
