A poodle, 9 years old, male, 5.3kg,was found to be lameness and unable to land on his right hind limb suddenly at home, and was brought to the hospital. X-rays were taken to confirm the diagnosis of a rupture of cranial cruciate ligament. As such, we decided to perform a TPLO surgery. The dog’s ligament was internally fixed with BlueSAO TPLO-5.5mm R-type pure titanium locking plate. The surgery was completed successfully. The dog was able to walk in a normal posture on the third day post-surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.
