A maltipoo dog, nickname: Paopao, 1 year and 7 months old, female (neutered), 6.5kg,suffered from pain and muscle atrophy due to the necrosis of the left femoral head. As such, we decided to perform a hip replacement surgery on this dog. Intraoperatively, we adopted a φ13mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, a φ10mm+0 femoral head, and a #2 stem of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement System for replacement. The surgery was successfully completed. The dog was able to bear weight normally on the affected limb the day after surgery and began leash walking on the third day. The recovery speed is astonishing!
