A Chinese rural dog, nickname: Pipi, 2 years old, female (unneutered), 16kg,suffered from luxation of the left femoral head due to a traffic accident. As such, we decided to perform a hip replacement surgery.Accurate preoperative planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVet. We did the surgery by using a φ19mm bionic acetabular cup, a φ16mm PEEK femoral head, a #6 biological stem, and an M+0 femoral neck of BlueSAO Bionic Hip Joint System for replacement. The surgery was completed successfully. Best wishes for an early recovery.

As one of the core principles of medical ethics, "First Do No Harm" emphasizes that medical actions should prioritize avoiding physical and mental harm to patients. A good surgical procedure must cause minimal damage to small animals.

There are always specific or special cases at any time, but we must never take these as the general treatment principles. We strive for clean total hip replacements with the least possible surgical damage and work hard to achieve pain-free joints for small animals.
