A cat, female, 3kg, suffered from a fracture of bilateral phalanges. Another hospital did external fixation for her bilateral phalanges. However, the right distal phalanges appeared edema and hypothermia.
The reflex of right affected limb was reduced and there was a risk of necrosis. Because the cat was very weak, firstly, we fixed the left leg by using BlueSAO PRCL-Mini 3.5mm locking plates＋Intramedullary pins. The surgery was completed successfully. After observation, we will choose the appropriate time to do the surgery for the other leg.
