20220213-【Rupture of cranial cruciate ligament】A Poodle, fixed with TPLO-S system successfully
A Poodle, 9 years old, female, 3.5Kg. The pet owner took the dog to the hospital because the dog had lameness. Both the drawer test and the tibial compression test were positive, so it was diagnosed as rupture of cranial cruciate ligamentand patellar luxation. The TPA was 28°. Preoperative planning was performed using iBlueVet software, and patellar luxation was corrected while performing TPLO surgery. During the surgery, a #10 saw blade was used, the displacement was 4mm. The BlueSAO TPLO-5.5mm-R locking plate was used for internal fixation. The postoperative TPA was corrected to 6°. The surgery went well and we wish her a speedy recovery.
