A Border Collie, three years old, female, 30kg,suffered from congenital hip dysplasia. Her left hip replaced with BlueSAO Universal Hip Replacement System in May 2021. After a year of recovery, the pet owner noticed a significant increase in the dog's mobility as well as significantly more stress on the side that had undergone total hip replacement surgery than the other side.

So the owner chose to perform a total hip replacement on the right hind limb using the BlueSAO universal hip replacement system in May of this year. Implants: 22mm biologicalcup, 13mm (+0) femoral head, #5 biologicalfemoral stem. Everything was normal for walking two months after surgery.

Total Hip Replacement (THR) is nowadays the most effective remedy for advanced hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis in dogs and cats.
