Salter-harris type I
femoral head growth plate fracture also called femoral head slipped. The cat
had lameness and pain in the affected limb. It was decided to perform a total
hip replacement. Intraoperatively, a cemented Micro&Nano Hip System from
BlueSAO was used for the replacement. Implants: 12 mm cemented cup, 3 #
cemented femoral stem, 8 mm (+0) femoral head. The surgery was completed
successfully. The cat recovered well.
