Breed: Shiba Inu, Age: 1 year and 9 months old, Weight: 13.5kg, Sex: Female.
The dog had a hip Dysplasiat. The preoperative
evaluation revealed that her acetabular form was absent. Therefore, it was
decided to choose a smaller acetabular cup for implantation, thus avoiding the
dorsolateral margin deficiency affecting the stability of the artificial
acetabular cup. The surgery was performed using BlueSAO cemented Micro&Nano
Hip system for the replacement. Implants: 14mm cup, #3 femoral stem, 8mm (+4)
femoral head. The surgery went well, looking forward to a speedy recovery!
