A cat, 4.3kg, abused by a bad guy due to scratching someone, caused an open comminuted fracture of the left olecranon with infected wound and a transverse fracture of the right distal radius and ulna. We fixed the radius with BlueSAO PRCL-6.5mm locking plate. We fixed the olecranon with the BlueSAO HyProtect-PRCL-6.5mm antimicrobial plasma coating locking plate. The antimicrobial plasma coatings come from German Bio-Gate company. This antimicrobial plasma coating can release Ag+( silver ion) in body more than 100 days for resisting infection.
