A Bichon Frise, 11
months old, male, 5kg,
was brought to the
clinic due to lameness of the left hind limb, and radiographic examination
revealed ischemic necrosis of the left femoral head, so the pet owner chose to
perform a THR for treatment. We did the THR surgery by using a #2 cemented
stem, a φ12mm cemented cup and a φ8mm (+0) head of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Hip
Replacement System for replacement. The surgery was completed successfully.
