A Bichon Frise, nickname: Leduo, 7 years old, female (unneutered), 7.1kg.

She suffered from a mild lameness of the right hind limb for 1 month, which suddenly worsened the day before yesterday with inability to touch the ground. DR image showed anterior tibial tilt, which was diagnosed as a rupture of cranial cruciate ligament of the right hind limb. As such, we decided to perform a TPLO surgery. Accurate preoperative planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVetto determine the TPA angle to be 29°. We performed the surgery by using the BlueSAO TPLO-5.5mm R-type pure titanium locking plate for treatment with a 12mm saw blade and a movement distance of 5mm. The surgery was completed successfully. Best wishes for an early recovery.

Thanks to Dr. Chi Xinyu (Northeastern Agricultural University Veterinary Teaching Hospital) for sharing the clinical case of BlueSAO TPLO locking plate system.
