A Poodle, 10 years old, female, 5.6kg,
suffered from a lameness, which was diagnosed as the rupture of cranial cruciate ligament. As such, we decided to perform a TPLO surgery. Accurate preoperative planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVet. The intraoperative tibial compression test revealed that the joint was unstable in external rotation, intraoperative extracapsular ligament fixation was then added, and she was fixed with BlueSAO TPLO-5.5mm L pure titanium locking plate for internal fixation. The surgery was completed successfully. Best wishes for an early recovery.
