A Clinical Case Sharing of BlueSAO Hip Replacement System in a Welsh Corgi Dog by Fuzhou RINGPAI Mingde Pet Hospital
A Welsh Corgi dog, nickname: Luban, 6 years old, male, 18.7kg, suffered from hip dysplasia with severe arthritis, so the decision was made to have his hip replaced. We did the surgery by using a φ15mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, a φ12mm (+3) femoral head, and a 4s stem of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement System for replacement. The surgery was completed successfully, and the dog was able to walk freely 20 days after the surgery.
