A British shorthair cat, 6 months old, male, 3kg,suffered from L1 vertebra fracture and paralysis of the hind limbs as a result of a fall from the 17th floor. Once the dog was in a stable condition, we decided to proceed with surgical treatment with the pedicle screw fixation system for internal fixation. During the surgery, we adopted BlueSAO FIXPINE Veterinary Spine Fixation System with 2.5mm pedicle screws for internal spinal fixation.The surgery was completed successfully.
