A maine coon cat, nickname: Xiaoxiong, 1 year and 9 months old, male (neutered), 8.7kg, suffered from bilateral old slipped femoral head. He received hip replacement on his right hip 2 weeks ago. The re-examination revealed that the right limb exhibited good stability and the muscle mass increased. As such, we perform the surgery on his left hip now.

The operation was completed by Dr. Du Lang and Dr. Li Wei from Kunming RINGPAI Hengjia Pet Hospital. They also used a φ13mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, a φ10mm+4 femoral head, and a #4 stem of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Joint Systemfor replacement. The surgery was completed successfully.
