An Alaskan malamute, nickname Jianbing, suffered from an fracture of femoral neck two months ago. As such, we decided to perform a THR surgery. The BlueSAO Bionic Hip Joint System was adopted for replacement. The surgery was completed successfully. Immediate postoperative luxation testing showed stable results, and the dog is recovering quickly thanks to the minimal damage from this surgery.

A 2-month postoperative re-examination was performed. The x-ray showed well bone ingrowth. From the video, it can be seen that Jianbing moves freely and is very active.
