A Welsh Corgi dog, nickname: Tengteng, 4 years old, female, 12kg,presented with lameness in the right hind limb on December 3 last year, and was brought to our hospital after 3 weeks of observation at home with no improvement. Examination showed partial rupture of bilateral cranial cruciate ligament. Because of severe lameness on the dog’s right side, it was decided to perform a TPLO surgery on the right side first. The dog’s ligament was internally fixed with BlueSAO TPLO-6.5mm R-type pure titanium locking plate. The surgery was completed successfully, and the dog’s affected limb could walk normally with weight bearing 3 days after the surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.

Thanks to Dr. Yuan Shuai (Chongqing Rufei Animal Hospital) for sharing the clinical case of BlueSAO TPLO locking plate system.
