A bichon frise, 5years old, male, 7.5kg,suffered from the rupture of cranial cruciate ligament due to traumatic injury and was tested positive for a drawer test. As such, we decided to perform a TPLO surgery. Intraoperatively, we used BlueSAO TPLO-5mm L-type pure titanium locking plate for internal fixation. The surgery was completed successfully. The immediate postoperative tibial thrust test showed negative results. The dog’s affected limb was able to stand to urinate 4 days after surgery. The dog is recovering quickly thanks to the minimal damage from this surgery.
