A maine coon cat, 1.5 years old, male, 6.5kg,suffered from a fracture of bilateral femoral neck. As such, we decided to perform a hip replacement on this cat. Intraoperatively, we adopted a φ13mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, a φ10mm+0 femoral head, and a #3 stem of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement System for replacement. The surgery was completed successfully. Immediate postoperative luxation testing showed stable results, and the cat is recovering quickly thanks to the minimal damage from this surgery.
