A labrador retriever, 7 months old, male, 21kg,developed lameness in his right hind limb at the age of 6 months and went to the hospital for radiographs which revealed superior luxation of the right femoral head, hip dysplasia, and muscular atrophy of the femur. Based on this and by knowing some other information about this dog, we decided to perform hip replacement on it. Accurate preoperative planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVet. We did the surgery by using a φ25mm bionic acetabular cup, a φ20mm PEEK femoral head, a #4.5 biological stem, an M+3 femoral neck, and a φ16mm cortical bone side bolt of BlueSAO Bionic Hip Joint System. The surgery was completed successfully, and the dog is recovering well. Best wishes for an early recovery. Looking forward to his early discharge!

BlueSAO Hip Replacement System:Non-3D Printed Stem of Mainstream Forging Stem Process! All implants like the acetabular cup, femoral head, femoral neck, and lateral bolt are not 3D printed and have stood the test of time to be safer and more reliable!
