A maine coon cat, 1 year old, male, 5.8kg,suffered from the fracture of bilateral femoral neck and underwent a left hip replacement surgery one month ago. Its postoperative recovery was good. Therefore, this time a right hip replacement was performed on this cat. Intraoperatively, we also adopted BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement System for replacement. A 13mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, a 10mm+0 femoral head, and a #3 cemented femoral stem were used as implants. The surgery was completed successfully. Immediate postoperative luxation testing showed stable results, and the cat is recovering quickly thanks to the minimal damage from this surgery.
