Breed‌: Labrador Retriever, Nickname: Heidou

Age: 5 years old

Sex: Female (neutered)

Weight: 34kg

The dog suffered from left hind limb lameness for one month‌, with imaging suggesting cranial cruciate ligament disease in the left hind limb knee joint. During surgery, BlueSAO's new equipment - arthroscope was used for further examination, and it was ultimately determined that the dog had rupture of cranial cruciate ligament in the left hind limb. As such, we decided to perform a TPLO surgery. The dog’s ligament was internally fixed with BlueSAO TPLO-10.5mm L-type pure titanium locking plate. The surgery was completed successfully, and the dog is recovering well from the surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.

Thanks to Dr. Du Lang (Kunming RINGPAI Hengjia Pet Hospital) for sharing the clinical case of BlueSAO arthroscope system and TPLO system.
