An American shorthair cat, 10 months old, male, 3kg,suffered from an old fracture of femoral head. As such, we decided to perform a hip replacement surgery on this cat. Accurate operative planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVet. We did the hip replacement surgery by using a φ11mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, a φ8mm+0 femoral head, and a #2 cemented femoral stem of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement System for replacement. The surgery was completed successfully. Immediate postoperative luxation testing showed stable results, and the cat is recovering quickly thanks to the minimal damage from this surgery.
