Etiology: the dog suffered from prolonged lameness due to hip arthritis in the right limb, which had progressively worsened and limited the ability to walk long distances.

A decision was made to perform a total hip replacement (THR) for the future quality of life and welfare of the dog. Intraoperatively, we used BlueSAO Bionic Hip Joint System for replacement.

This hip replacement surgery was performed by Dr. Anton Susilo Adi Puspito from Indonesia and Dr. Zhou Luoping from Shanghai Baichou Animal Hospital, China.

Reexamination 2 months after BlueSAO Bionic THR Surgery:it can be seen from the X-ray film that the internal implant is stable. The video shows that Mika walks steadily up and down the stairs and moves freely, showing an excellent recovery.
