Shiba Inu, nickname: Loopy, 7 months old, female, weight 7.44Kg.
Loopy is a very active dog. At the end of May 2025, she was unable to walk normally. The doctor found that Loopy's right hip bone was oval, bilateral hip dislocation, right hip dysplasia, and dorsal luxationof the femoral head. It was decided to perform right hip replacement first.
Preoperatively, the BlueSAOiBlueVet software was used for precise surgical planning. During the operation, the BlueSAOMicro Bionic CementedHip System was used for replacement. The implant selection was: 13 mm PEEK Cement Acetabular Cup, 10mm+2 Femoral Head, #2 Cement Femoral Stem. The operation was successfully completed, and the postoperative recovery effect was particularly good! 36 hours after the operation, Loopy can walk freely and go out for a walk. I hope he will recover soon!
"First do no harm" is one of the core principles of medical ethics, emphasizing that medical behavior should give priority to avoiding physical and mental harm to patients. A good surgical process must cause less damage to the body of small animals.
There are always specific/special cases, but we must never use specific/special cases as universal treatment principles. We pursue clean total hips, pursue all minimally damaging surgeries, and strive for painless joints for small animals!
