A Poodle, 8 months old, female, 4.3kg, injured by a accidental fall, caused a fracture of left radius and ulna and dislocation of wrist joint. We did wrist arthrodesis by using the BlueSAO HyProtect-PRCL- S6.5mm antimicrobial plasma coating locking plate. The MicroSilver antimicrobial plasma coatings come from German Bio-Gate company. This antimicrobial plasma coating can release Ag+( silver ion) in body more than 100 days for resisting infection. The surgery was completed successfully. Hope the guy recovery soon！
